  • YogaA lot like it sounds! Training for the mind, body and spirit. Includes controlled yoga postures to increase strength and flexibility. Gym membership not required! with JeffJeff has been practicing yoga for more than 10 years and has been teaching in the Atlanta area at a variety of gyms and yoga studios for more than 3 years. A lifelong competitive runner, Jeff tried a yoga class to help with his running and racing and was quickly hooked on the benefits of improving his balance, breathing and flexibility. His classes are appropriate for all levels- beginner to advanced and always include deep stretching, yoga flows and a little balance to leave you feeling great for the rest of the day- a perfect way to start your Sunday morning. Jeff’s class has been described as fun, loose and relaxed – with plenty of help and encouragement. Jeff’s an Atlanta native and is a Global Vice President for a major real-estate firm. When he’s not in a yoga class he’s out running or on the golf course. 10:00 am to 11:00 am
  • ZumbaA one-hour dance class – part rumba, part salsa, ALL fun! Rhythm not required. ZUMBA is a Latin inspired cardio fitness class that incorporates traditional Latin and international dance moves into a high energy aerobic workout. Gym membership not required! with Laura 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

H.E.A.T. Bootcamp is an hour long class which will have you participating in 10-12 different, timed exercises which will incorporate both cardio exercise and resistance/weight training. with Al 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm

  • Zumba Gold with AmandaAmanda was born and raised in GA. Amanda graduated from Pope High school in Marietta GA in 1991. As a teenager Amanda was very active in Gymnastics and Cheer leading. After High school Amanda started gaining weight by the time she was 37 years old she was 300 pounds. Amanda made the decision that she would not enter into her 40’s overweight and unhealthy. Amanda took control and joined a gym and hired a Personal Trainer with the help of her Trainer she lost 150 lbs. Amanda lost the weight and began living a healthy lifestyle . After going through it herself she wanted to find a way to help others change their lifestyle . Amanda turned her experience into a Passion for Fitness . Amanda is now a Zumba Instructor, FitPro ,and Assistant Manager here at Fitness 1440 . Fitness has become her passion and she wants to help you find your passion for Fitness . Amanda is no longer worried about being in her 40’s she is now forty and fit . 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm
