\"\"<\/a> \"\"<\/a>It was hard saying goodbye to someone like Jeff.<\/p>\n

But there was something beautiful about being in a room full of people who loved him unconditionally, and who he loved just as deeply.<\/p>\n

There will never be enough words to fully capture the impact he had on so many lives, but every story shared today felt perfect.<\/p>\n

Looking around that room, I realized something.<\/p>\n

We were all connected because of Jeff.<\/p>\n

And I think he did something even more beautiful than any lesson he taught or advice he gave.<\/p>\n

He brought the people he loved together one more time and reminded us to celebrate life.<\/p>\n

My heart goes out to Mrs. April, his children, grandchildren, family, and friends. But I hope that when they looked around that room, they saw something beautiful too.<\/p>\n

Not just the people who came to celebrate Jeff.<\/p>\n

But the people who will continue to be there long after today.<\/p>\n

The people who loved him.<\/p>\n

And the people who will continue loving them.<\/p>\n

To Mrs. April, you were his greatest reason.<\/p>\n

To his children, you were his proudest accomplishments.<\/p>\n

To his grandchildren, you were his greatest rewards.<\/p>\n

And to his family and friends, thank you for loving him the way you did and helping shape the man so many of us were fortunate enough to know.<\/p>\n

Jeff used to say he wasn\u2019t better than anyone else.<\/p>\n

He was just different.<\/p>\n

And maybe he was right.<\/p>\n

Because even in saying goodbye, he found a way to bring people together.<\/p>\n

And if there was one thing that room proved, it\u2019s that he left a lot of people better than he found them.<\/p>\n

One last thing.<\/p>\n

A lot of us are going to miss the random selfies.<\/p>\n

The check-ins.<\/p>\n

The accountability.<\/p>\n

The messages out of nowhere asking where we\u2019ve been or how we\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n

Not because Jeff was keeping score.<\/p>\n

Because he cared.<\/p>\n

Because he paid attention.<\/p>\n

Because he wanted the people he loved to be healthy, successful, and happy.<\/p>\n

And knowing Jeff, he\u2019d probably tell us we\u2019ve spent enough time talking about him.<\/p>\n

He\u2019d tell us to keep showing up.<\/p>\n

Keep taking care of each other.<\/p>\n

Keep betting on ourselves.<\/p>\n

And then, with a smile on his face, he\u2019d leave us with one final piece of advice:<\/p>\n
