A variety of classes to inspire our members to achieve their goals. Each class is led by a qualified instructor and designed to help you reach your fitness goals.

Virtual Classes:

The MINDBODY APP enables you to book and attend Virtual Classes.

Steps:

  1. Download the MINDBODY APP on the APP STORE (APPLE) or get it on GOOGLE PLAY (ANDRIOD). The icon is an orange square with a white circle in the center.
  2. Register using the email we have for you at Fitness 1440. If you don’t know your email address on file, simply call us at (205) 744-3333.
  3. Set up a PASSWORD that you can remember.
  4. After you have registered, a confirming email will be sent to your email address.

ONCE REGISTERED OPEN APP

  1. Click “FITNESS
  2. Click “BUSINESS
  3. Click “FITNESS 1440” (may have to search for us in the search box at the top of the screen)
  4. Click “VIEW SCHEDULE
  5. Find the Virtual Class you would like to attend and click “BOOK
  6. Verify and click “BOOK” again.

A link will be sent to your email 30 minutes before class begins.

1440 Cycle

1440 Cycle is an exhilarating, high-energy indoor cycling workout designed to torch calories, build cardiovascular endurance, and strengthen your lower body. The class features motivating music, varied terrain simulations, and instructor-led coaching that guides you through climbs, sprints, and recovery intervals. This immersive cycling experience is suitable for all fitness levels, with each rider controlling their own resistance and pace to create a personalized yet community-driven workout.


Dancercise

Ready to dance yourself into shape? That’s what Dancercise is all about! An exhilarating, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, dance fitness party that’s moves you into joy and health.

Golden Bootcamp

Golden Bootcamp is a modified, low-impact fitness class designed to build strength, improve cardiovascular health, and enhance overall mobility. The class combines functional movements, light resistance training, and bodyweight exercises at a comfortable pace, focusing on proper form and safe execution. This energizing workout is specifically tailored for active older adults and those seeking a gentler approach to fitness, with all exercises easily modified to accommodate different fitness levels and physical limitations.

H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)

H.I.I.T. (High-Intensity Interval Training) is a dynamic, high-energy workout designed to maximize calorie burn, boost cardiovascular fitness, and build lean muscle. The class alternates between short bursts of intense exercise and brief recovery periods, creating an efficient full-body workout that continues burning calories long after class ends. This challenging yet scalable format is suitable for all fitness levels, with modifications offered to accommodate beginners and progressions available for advanced participants.

Mat Pilates + Strength

Mat pilates + strength is a low impact, but challenging workout designed to sculpt your full body, build core strength, and improve flexibility. The class focuses on controlled, precise movements, proper breathing techniques, and mindful engagement of your muscles. This class is suitable for all levels, with modifications offered to accommodate beginners. 


Yoga

Yoga uses slow movements and stretching to increase flexibility, balance, and cardio strength. It is also good for relieving stress and promoting relaxation.

VIEW A CLASS:

All Level Yoga

This class will flow from pose to pose and link movement with the breath. We do sitting, standing, and inverted postures. The class is designed to build internal heat slowly and gently. Meditation and Pranayama (breathwork) techniques are taught to promote relaxation. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone. Challenging variations are available for the more advanced student as well as fun and non-intimidating options for newer students.

Easy (Beginning) Yoga

In this class, postures are practiced to align, strengthen and promote flexibility in the body. Breathing techniques and meditation are also integrated. You can expect an emphasis on simplicity, repetition, and ease of movement. Full-body relaxation and balance are the goals, as we make a full circuit of the body’s range of motion with standing postures, twists, backbends, forward folds, and hip openers. A variety of modifications will be offered to encourage the participation of everyone.

Yoga Core And Stretch

Yoga Core and Stretch is a class suitable for all fitness levels. This class is sure to strengthen and empower your body, mind, and spirit as poses that target the core muscles are carefully selected. Your core consists of every muscle in your body that is not part of your arms and legs. Poses are held or connected together, creating a fun flow to strengthen and stretch the body. The class has no standing poses. We practice on a mat or from a chair.

Silver Sneakers Classic

SilverSneakers Classic focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing the range of movement for daily life
activities. Participants can use hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneakers ball.
Often a chair is used for seated exercises or standing support.

Silver Sneakers Stability

SilverSneakers Stability is designed to help you become stronger and improve balance. The movements
taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee, and hip
joints, while improving your reaction time.

Zumba

Ready to party yourself into shape? That’s what the Zumba program is all about! An exhilarating, easy-to-follow, calorie-burning, Latin-inspired dance fitness party that’s moving millions of people into joy and health.
