It Started With a Conversation
One of my favorite parts of working at Fitness:1440 Lebanon isn’t creating advertisements or
planning events, it’s building relationships with the people who make our community special.
Over the past few years, one of the relationships I’ve valued most has been our partnership with
Scott and Angie Schuler on the KRKT Cricket Country Morning Show.
What started as an opportunity to talk about our gym has grown into a genuine partnership centered around supporting local businesses, celebrating our community, and encouraging healthier lifestyles.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to tune in, Scott and Angie host the KRKT Cricket Country
Morning Show weekday mornings on 99.9 FM, bringing listeners local news, community
conversations, great country music, and plenty of laughs along the way. If you’re looking for a fun
way to stay connected with what’s happening around Linn and Benton counties, I highly
recommend giving them a listen. Be sure to check out the links below to visit their website, listen
live, and follow them on social media.
More Than Just Radio
Every time I step into the studio, Scott makes it feel like I’m catching up with a friend.
They have a way of making every conversation feel comfortable, authentic, and enjoyable. Whether we’re talking about fitness, upcoming events, member success stories, or Lebanon Community Day, it never feels like a scripted interview. It feels like neighbors sharing what’s happening in the community they love.
That authenticity is one of the many reasons KRKT continues to be such a trusted voice throughout the Mid-Willamette Valley.
A Partnership That Gives Back
One of the biggest benefits of this partnership has been the opportunities it has created for our
members.
Thanks to our relationship with KRKT, we’ve been able to offer exciting prizes and giveaways that
simply wouldn’t have been possible on our own. Through their generosity and their connections
within our community, we’ve been able to reward our members with fun local attraction tickets, gift
certificates, event passes, and other community-sponsored prizes.
Those giveaways do much more than put a smile on someone’s face. They motivate members to
participate in challenges, celebrate milestones, encourage community involvement, and introduce
people to other fantastic local businesses and attractions they may not have discovered otherwise.
To me, that’s what a true partnership looks like. Two organizations working together to create
something bigger than either could accomplish alone.
Stronger Together
I’ve learned that marketing isn’t just about advertisements or promotions. It’s about building trust and creating relationships that benefit everyone involved.
Scott and Angie have helped us tell our story, share our mission, and reach people who may have never walked through our doors otherwise. At the same time, they’ve helped us shine a light on other local businesses, nonprofits, and community events that deserve recognition.
That’s something I genuinely appreciate, and it’s a big reason why this partnership has become one of my favorite parts of my role at Fitness:1440 Lebanon.
Looking Ahead
On behalf of everyone at Fitness:1440 Lebanon, I want to sincerely thank Scott, Angie, and the
entire KRKT team.
Thank you for believing in local businesses. Thank you for helping us celebrate our members. And
thank you for being a partner that continually looks for ways to strengthen our community.
We’re excited to continue growing this partnership and finding new ways to bring even more value
to our members through community events, creative promotions, health initiatives, and memorable
giveaways.
We’re grateful that KRKT shares that same our vision, and we look forward to many more years of continued partnership together.
